Dinner at Christmas party
Over 70 people joined our Christmas party on December 20th. It was a fun night of games, gifts and sharing. Some of them decorated the party room, prepared food and cleanup after the party. Many of them do not know Jesus Christ. Victor & Betty shared the true meaning of Christmas. Thank you for the prayer. God is gracious.
Cindy attended women bible study group and Sunday service regularly. She accepted Christ as her personal Saviour on New Year Sunday service. Praise the Lord. God did great things in her life. The first time I met her in women bible study group, she was quiet during discussion. She prepared bible study material every time and started to ask questions. Now, she is forgiven and receives eternal life from Jesus Christ. She is eager to know more about the Bible and she likes to be transformed by His Word daily. Victor & Betty had given her online daily devotion resources. Recently she moved to Trinidad with her son to join her husband there.
Chinese team made up a video to introduce the ministry for Chinese Professionals Mexico City (Mandarin). You can find it in my update bio page, under “Current Priorities”, (https://www.cmacan.org/al/). Feel free to play the video and forward the video to other Christians.
Prayer Items:
[1] The Holy Spirit would speak into the hearts of those who heard the Good News at our Christmas party. They may desire to seek peace and eternal hope in our Lord.
[2] God strengthens Cindy and her family as they adjust their life in Trinidad. Pray for her growth and she can share the Gospel with her family and friends on the island.
[3] Pray for the well being of Victor & Betty.
[4] I will have surgery on Feb 12th. The doctor will take out a lymph node from thyroid for analysis. I hope I can go back to Santa Fe in the beginning of March. I am staying in Toronto now. Please pray for the surgery, the result of the analysis and I continue to find “the treasure hidden in the darkness”, and the peace that passes all understanding.
