Autumn
It has been a few years since we’ve experienced autumn in Canada, so we are especially enjoying this season. We love the colours, crunchy leaves, and being able to see our breath in the mornings. Whether we will enjoy winter just as much remains to be seen!
Our family has settled into a good routine with our girls adjusting well to school and Ace and I engaging with churches and small groups. Thank you for praying for us.
Thank you also for praying for Sahel Academy. The school has relocated to two large houses. Secondary classes started this week and elementary will begin next week. Please pray for grace, patience, and flexibility as this school year looks very different from what everyone expected.
The Sahel Academy campus is still very much under water and restoration has yet to begin. Please ask our Good Father for strength and wisdom for the SIM leadership team looking at the months of recovery ahead.
Autumn also means the reopening of NVOC, our sewing school. Hassi and Amina, our head sewing teacher, have been busy preparing the centre to welcome the students back on Monday, October 5. Please pray for a safe year of learning.
Thank you for your encouragement and prayers. May you experience our Loving Father in new and fresh ways this month.
Gratefully,
Cecilia and Ace (with Elise and Iyla)
